WHAT IS APPALACHIAN DANCE?

From square dance origins, Appalachian has developed into a form of tap dance with group formations and interaction between the dancers. Although it's often known as "clogging", we don't wear clogs.

It's fun. It's full of rhythm and if you love blue grass or Celtic music, it's for you. We mostly dance to recorded music but are always on the lookout for enthusiastic fiddle, banjo, guitar or accordion players.

WHEN DO WE MEET?

We meet on Tuesdays at Livsey Hall in Llanishen, Cardiff from 7.30 to 9.00pm
